Eird is an exclusive water front retreat on Iceland's south coast. This slice of paradise is uniquely located on a peninsula by lake Gislholtsvatn, providing extra privacy and connection to nature.
Meals, movement and free time during the retreat will take place on-site at Eird. The property comes fully equipped with a private lake, kayaks, hot-tub, yoga studio, fireplace, washer and dryer. There are a couple of hiking trails that are walking distance from the property. The yoga studio is equipped with yoga mats and props. Towels, bedding and robes are provided.
The property at Eird is equipped with 10 shared bedrooms, each with 2 twin beds (can be combined to 1 queen). The property consists of one original building, a new larger building and three spacious guest houses, mixing together an old Scandinavian lodge style with modern Scandinavian architecture.
We strongly recommend that shared rooms are booked with a friend or a loved one. Please indicate on the submission form if you are interested in signing up as a single traveler and we can pair you up with another participant. If you are a group of three, please let us know as we can accommodate three people in one room.

If you need help arranging a flexible payment plan, we can work with you on options so long as your full retreat payment is paid no later than 90-days prior to the retreat start date.
No one books a retreat with the intention to cancel it, but unexpected events do occur, so we strongly encourage purchasing travel insurance. Please know that it is your responsibility to read and understand our cancellation policies.
All retreats include a $1,000 non-refundable / non-transferrable deposit, which is required to secure your spot on the trip. Any balance payments made are also non-refundable / non-transferrable if cancellation is within 90-days of the retreat start date. No refunds or credits will be granted for failure to attend, complete or for arriving late or leaving early.
Your deposit secures your spot and full payment of your remaining balance is due by April 1, 2026.
We request all of our retreat guests very strongly consider purchasing travel insurance. We recommend looking into reputable travel insurance companies like Allianz or World Nomad as they offer a variety of plans and options to suit your needs.
